The Department of State explicitly placed a Level 4 "Do Not Travel" designation on the Rasuwagadhi-Timure-Syafrubesi area within the Rasuwa district, including the Nepal-China border crossing. The restriction stems from severe flood damage, disrupted transportation and communications, ongoing search-and-rescue operations, and the continuous risk of additional landslides and flooding.
