Kulman Ghising has positioned the Ujyaalo Nepal Party toward a street-driven political approach, stating that the party will operate as a voice of the people outside formal state structures.
Speaking at a Bagmati Province-level leaders’ gathering in Kathmandu, Ghising said the party intends to actively engage with public concerns and push for national progress through continuous public mobilisation.
He emphasized that the party would raise issues of nationalism, inequality, and development directly from the streets, while also maintaining pressure on the government to act responsibly. According to him, constructive actions will be supported, while shortcomings will be publicly challenged.
Ghising also outlined an organisational expansion plan, including provincial, district, municipal, and ward-level meetings aimed at strengthening the party’s presence nationwide. He said the party plans to reach households directly and build grassroots support.
Reflecting on the recent House of Representatives election, Ghising noted that limited preparation time affected the party’s performance. However, he expressed confidence that the party will emerge as a strong contender in upcoming local and provincial elections.
The party’s current strategy indicates a shift toward structured grassroots mobilisation, with a focus on long-term political positioning across all provinces.
