Janakpurdham, Dhanusha - Dozens of leaders and cadres from various political parties, including central committee members of Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) and Tarai-Madhesh Loktantrik Party (TMLP), have joined the Rastriya Ekta Dal.
During the 'Party Entry for a Hindu Nation' program organized by Rastriya Ekta Dal Dhanusha in Janakpurdham, JSP central member Urmila Devi Mahato, TMLP central member and provincial assembly candidate Shyam Sundar Sah, alongside leaders and cadres affiliated with various parties, formally entered Rastriya Ekta Dal.
Rastriya Ekta Dal Central Chairman Binay Yadav welcomed the new entrants into the party with tika and khada. Speaking at the program, Chairman Yadav claimed that the restoration of a Hindu nation is necessary for the protection of Nepal's original identity, as well as its religious and cultural existence.
“The restoration of a Hindu nation has become essential to protect Nepal’s original identity and religious-cultural existence,” Yadav said. “For the benefit of Madhesh and the entire country, it is necessary for followers of Sanatan Dharma to come onto a single political platform.”
Shyam Sundar Sah, former central member of TMLP who joined the party, accused traditional political parties of failing to give adequate priority to the issues of Madhesh and matters linked to Sanatan culture. He stated that he joined Rastriya Ekta Dal in the interest of the country, religion, and Madhesh.
Similarly, former JSP central member Urmila Devi Mahato stated that they joined Rastriya Ekta Dal giving priority to protecting public faith and religious identity.
At the program, Manish Purbe, Vijay Singh, and Hemanta Mahato claimed that public support for a Hindu nation is expanding in Madhesh, stating that the political and cultural issues raised by Rastriya Ekta Dal have created a new political debate in Madhesh.
The program, conducted by Rastriya Ekta Dal central member Ramnath Yadav, saw significant participation from leaders, cadres, and supporters coming from various parts of Dhanusha.
The party stated that it has recently accelerated its organizational expansion and membership drive across various districts of Madhesh. The party has taken this recent party entry as a continuation of its campaign to expand its political base in Madhesh.
