The Civil Hospital has officially operationalized a dedicated health service unit within Singhadurbar today, aiming to deliver convenient and swift healthcare services directly to civil servants. The newly established service unit has commenced its operations on the lower floor of the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration building.
According to the ministry, the workspace health unit was established to mitigate the compulsion faced by employees to visit external hospitals for general healthcare services. The initiative is also intended to manage the continuously increasing pressure of service seekers at the primary Civil Hospital facility.
The newly established center is designed to provide targeted health checkups, including blood pressure monitoring and blood tests, for both civil servants and arriving service seekers. Demonstrating the immediate implementation of the service, Minister Pratibha Rawal visited the unit earlier today and underwent a routine blood pressure examination.
This localized facility is expected to enhance workplace wellness and streamline administrative efficiency by reducing medical-related absence among government personnel. The long-term operational impacts and prospective expansions of similar workplace health units remain to be observed as the facility continues its services.
