A significant leap for educational infrastructure in Sudurpaschim Province was marked today as the foundation stone for the Siddhanath Secondary School’s new facility was officially laid. The ceremony, held in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-12, was led by Narayan Singh, First Secretary at the Embassy of India in Kathmandu.

This development comes as part of a financial commitment from the Government of India totaling approximately 36 million Nepali Rupees. Categorized as a High Impact Community Development Project (HICDP), the initiative aims to modernize the learning environment for the local community in Kailali.
The project will be executed under the direct oversight of the Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City administration. During the event, local leaders, including the Mayor of Dhangadhi, expressed their gratitude for the ongoing bilateral support, noting that the improved facilities would provide a vital boost to both students and faculty members.

Beyond the brick and mortar, this project highlights the deep-rooted multi-sectoral cooperation between the two neighboring nations. It serves as a testament to India's sustained partnership in supporting Nepal’s national priorities for growth and infrastructure enhancement.
The completion of this building is expected to transform the academic landscape of the region, fostering a more conducive atmosphere for future generations of learners.
