External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar's Official Visit to Nepal
External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar is scheduled to visit Kathmandu on January 04-05, 2024, following an invitation from Mr. N.P. Saud, the Foreign Minister of Nepal. The primary agenda of the visit is to co-chair the 7th meeting of the India-Nepal Joint Commission, established in 1987. This commission serves as a crucial platform for both ministers to comprehensively review and strengthen the bilateral partnership between India and Nepal.
During his visit, EAM Jaishankar will also hold discussions with the leadership of Nepal and engage with prominent political figures. This high-level exchange emphasizes the significance of the diplomatic ties and mutual cooperation shared between the two close and friendly neighbors.
