Dr. Amarendra Yadav has sent a letter of rebuttal to 'Nepal Aaja'. This news has been published in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Journalist Conduct issued by the Press Council Nepal. Dr. Yadav's statement is included here impartially.

Dr. Amarendra Yadav has drawn serious attention to and explicitly refuted news articles published on Nepal Aaja Online regarding the arrest of Rameshwar Parajuli on charges of collecting money and commissions under the pretext of securing development projects from the Madhesh Province government. He completely rejected the allegations, stating that his name was unnecessarily linked and that he was portrayed as a person 'protecting' Parajuli in the news published on Shrawan 30 and Shrawan 32.

In the rebuttal letter, Dr. Yadav clarified that he only had a social acquaintance with Rameshwar Parajuli and had no involvement whatsoever in Parajuli's personal transactions or any financial dealings. Stating that he has no objection to the police investigation into Parajuli and the process of bringing out the truth, he mentioned that he plays no direct or indirect role in the incident.

Dr. Yadav stated that he has never assisted, protected, or facilitated anyone in securing projects from the Madhesh Province government or collecting money from anyone. He noted that if Parajuli took money or engaged in financial transactions with anyone, Parajuli himself must bear the responsibility for it. Furthermore, he raised objections to his name being linked based on unverified sources when there is no official evidence, complaint, bank transaction, or police report against him.

He maintained that referring to him as a 'close associate' in the news damaged his social and personal reputation and created confusion among readers. Stating that publishing news without taking his reaction or view prior to publication goes against the essence of impartial journalism, he demanded the publication of the rebuttal to dispel confusion regarding this serious matter and to correct the phrase 'close associate'. Dr. Yadav has also sent a copy of the rebuttal letter to Press Council Nepal.
