Indian Embassy Hosts Kathak Dance Recital to Celebrate 78th Independence Day

Kathmandu, Nepal - The Embassy of India in Nepal organized a captivating Kathak dance recital yesterday as part of the celebrations marking India’s 78th Independence Day. The event featured a mesmerizing performance by renowned Kathak dancer Ms. Arpita Dutta and her troupe, who traveled from India to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the country.

The event was graced by the presence of Hon. Mr. Badri Prasad Pandey, Nepal's Minister for Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation, who attended as the Chief Guest. The evening was a blend of culture and diplomacy, highlighting the close cultural ties between India and Nepal.

In his address, Minister Pandey praised the enduring cultural connection between the two nations and lauded the Embassy of India for organizing such a meaningful event.
