India's Investment: Where 70% of Students Are Women, A New Milestone for Myagdi Campus!
Myagdi, January 6, Kathmandu – With financial assistance from the Government of India, the construction of campus and hostel buildings for Myagdi Multiple Campus has been completed and officially handed over. Under the ‘Nepal-India Development Cooperation’ initiative, this project was implemented at a cost of NPR 27.93 million. The infrastructure was jointly handed over to the Campus Management Committee by Mr. Raj Kumar Thapa, Chief of District Coordination Committee, Myagdi, and Mr. Avinash Kumar Singh, Counsellor, Embassy of India, Kathmandu. The event was attended by political representatives, government officials, and social workers.

The project encompasses the construction of Humanities and Management buildings, a girls’ hostel, and other auxiliary facilities. Its primary aim is to enhance access to higher education and residential facilities for students in Myagdi. The improved infrastructure is expected to significantly uplift the quality of education while increasing accessibility, particularly for female students. The Chairperson of the Campus Management Committee lauded India’s support as a vital contribution to the holistic educational development of Myagdi district.
