Amit Shah’s Big Promise: Full Statehood for Jammu & Kashmir After Historic Elections!

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, addressing a grand public rally on Saturday at Palauda Island, made a significant announcement, promising that Jammu & Kashmir will regain its full statehood after the upcoming assembly elections. Shah called the elections historic, stating, "For the first time since the abrogation of Article 370 by the Modi government, the people of Jammu & Kashmir will vote under the Indian Constitution and the tricolor."

Highlighting the BJP’s first election rally coinciding with Ganesh Chaturthi, Shah remarked that this was not just a coincidence but a sign of good fortune. He accused the Congress-National Conference alliance of trying to restore the old system and warned, "The NDA government will ensure justice for all communities, especially Gujjars, Bakarwals, Paharis, and Dalits, who were given reservations by the Modi government."

Shah issued a stern warning to Rahul Gandhi, stating, "No matter how hard you try, we will not let you touch the reservations of Gujjars, Bakarwals, Paharis, and Dalits. And until peace is restored, there will be no talks with Pakistan."

During his speech, Shah emphasized that the removal of Article 370 had empowered the women of Jammu & Kashmir after 70 years, saying, "Congress and National Conference had taken away their rights, but now, the people will not let those rights be snatched again." He warned that these parties want to revive terrorism in peaceful areas like Jammu, Poonch, and Rajouri, and asked, "Will we let terrorism return to these regions?"
