A total of 99 individuals have successfully breached the electoral threshold to secure their positions within the central committee. The high-stakes internal race saw a massive pool of 384 hopeful contenders competing to claim a spot in the prestigious decision-making body.
Demonstrating robust internal popularity, current Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle emerged as the ultimate frontrunner by capturing the highest number of endorsements, totaling 2,656 votes from the delegates.
Following closely in the high-tier democratic sweep, Sobita Gautam commanded a strong backing of 2,641 votes, while Shishir Khanal earned the trust of 2,538 participants. Prominent figures Sagar Dhakal and Toshima Karki also demonstrated significant support bases, locking in 2,376 and 2,302 votes respectively.
While the race for committee seats proved highly competitive, the apex leadership position remained completely uncontested. Party chief Rabi Lamichhane secured his absolute mandate at the helm of the organization without facing any rival candidacies.
The newly shaped organizational framework represents an extensive cluster structure, featuring 20 open-category members, 10 representing the Khas Arya group, 9 from Indigenous Nationalities, 5 from Madhesi, 4 from Dalit, alongside 2 representatives each from the Tharu and Muslim communities. Additionally, structural representation was guaranteed through the provincial clusters, electing 5 central members from each of the seven provinces.
