Police in Parsa have confiscated illegal clothing valued at NPR 1,102,140 in Birgunj Metropolitan City as part of an ongoing operation against illegal border trade.
According to Press Release No. 51 issued for Fiscal Year 2083/084 by the District Police Office Parsa, the operational action was executed following targeted information gathering. Security personnel intercepted the consignment at approximately 18:30 hours on Bhadra 27, 2083, in Inarwagaun, located in Ward No. 16 of Birgunj Metropolitan City.
The seizure took place while the goods were allegedly being transported illegally to evade customs duties. Following the control and confiscation of the various types of clothing items, police handed over the entire inventory to the Birgunj Customs Office in Parsa on Bhadra 28, 2083, for necessary legal processing.
This coordinated action reflects ongoing administrative measures to mitigate illegal trade practices across border areas and maintain revenue oversight.
