Nepali travelers and patients seeking specialized medical care in India can now access discounted healthcare services following a new cross-border partnership between Everest Bank Limited and Medanta Hospital (The Medicity). Under the terms of the agreement, Everest Bank debit and credit cardholders will receive up to a 15 percent concession on various hospital services across Medanta’s network in India.

The medical discount applies across 13 branches of Medanta Hospital located in key urban centers, including New Delhi, Gurugram, Lucknow, Indore, Ranchi, and Noida. Beneficiaries paying with Everest Bank payment cards will receive savings on outpatient department (OPD) services—encompassing physician consultations, laboratory testing, and radiology—as well as inpatient department (IPD) services covering room tariffs, diagnostics, and imaging. The concession also extends to Medanta’s standard preventive health packages.

To redeem the discount, cardholders must settle their medical bills directly using their Everest Bank debit or credit cards at the participating hospital premises. The bank noted that the arrangement is designed to ease the financial burden of quality healthcare for its clients undergoing treatment or routine checkups in India.

By bridging financial services with international healthcare access, the agreement strengthens cross-border medical support for Nepali citizens requiring specialized treatments abroad.
