Nepali Killed Via Genital ID! MPs Slam Muslim Commission, Warn Nepal Unsafe.

KATHMANDU – A fierce backlash and outrage have erupted in Nepal following the brutal killing of 26 people, including Nepali citizen Sudip Neupane, in a horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. Two prominent Members of Parliament, known for their pro-Hindu stance – Gyanendra Shahi, Chief Whip of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), and Kiran Kumar Shah, elected as an independent and now affiliated with CPN-UML – have issued strong and sensational statements condemning the incident.
Gyanendra Shahi Lashes Out at Muslim Commission, Recalls Past Ties with Indian Army
MP Gyanendra Shahi labelled the attack a "massacre" based on religious identity and seriously questioned the role of the Nepal Muslim Commission. "They (the attackers) themselves said, 'We are Muslims, we are terrorists'," Shahi stated.
According to Shahi, the attackers identified the religion of Nepali and other male tourists by checking their genitals to see if they were circumcised (Khatna). "They were killed for being Hindu. Religion was determined by looking at the penis," Shahi said angrily. "Such immense cruelty! And the Nepal government is trying to evade responsibility with just a simple statement."
Recalling his time studying in India, he added, “When I was studying Chartered Accountancy, I audited the Indian Army. Today, that same army is fighting terrorists. Nepalis have also been killed. I cannot remain silent at such a time.”
He issued a stern warning to the Nepal Muslim Commission, saying, “We have maintained religious tolerance in Nepal, we have the Jama Masjid in front of the palace, our Hindu-Muslim relations are good. Terrorists have played a role in spoiling this relationship. The Muslim Commission should issue a letter and a statement against this.”
He added, “Nepal is a country that is 97% Vedic Sanatan... In a Hindu country, we send Muslims to Mecca Medina using the Nepal government's budget. Do we have to be killed in Kashmir and Bangladesh just because we are Hindu?” He questioned, "Do Nepalis not have the right to live?"
Appealing to the commission, he stated, "I want to appeal to the Muslim Commission; we have allowed you to open a commission in a Hindu country. Now, Muslim terrorists have killed Nepalis after opening their clothes, looking at their organs, identifying them, and shooting them. The Nepal Muslim Commission should pass a resolution condemning this. Otherwise, in a majority Hindu country... should Nepalis dying around the world for being Hindu not be strongly condemned? If the government does not take action on this, voices will rise across the country.”
Kiran Shah's Stern Warning: "Targeted Abroad, Danger Now Reaching Nepal!"
MP Kiran Kumar Shah also expressed deep sorrow and anger over the attack via his Facebook social media account, issuing a stark warning. He wrote, “This heartbreaking tragedy is a wake-up call for all of us. Nepalis have started being targeted abroad. This is not a normal attack; it is a sign that such danger is now set to arrive in Nepal itself.”
Paying tribute to the deceased Nepali citizen Sudip Neupane, he said, “If our people are being systematically targeted outside, it will not take long for such threats to reach our own soil. This is not just about security; it is about Nepal's collective dignity and humanity.”
Shah noted reports that the attackers in Pahalgam asked the victims' religion before opening fire, interpreting it as a direct threat to all civilized societies. He called for national unity and regional cooperation against the rising tide of extremist violence, stating, “Terrorism is no longer the concern of just one country. This is a battle between extremists and the rest of the civilized world. Nepal must rise in unity and work hand-in-hand with its neighbours and the international community to defeat this threat.”
The hashtags used in his post, including #JusticeForNepaliVictim, #NepalAgainstTerrorism, and #RegionalUnityForPeace, have generated widespread discussion and interest on social media, renewing calls for the Nepali government to take a more assertive stance on regional terrorism.
Finally – What is Khatna?
In Islam, 'Khatna' (Khitan in Arabic) is the religious practice of removing the foreskin of male infants. It is considered a part of 'Fitrah' (natural purity or cleanliness). It is regarded as a tradition (Sunnah) of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), which was also continued by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). In many Muslim countries, it is typically performed within a few days of birth. Allegations that the attackers in the Pahalgam incident used the presence or absence of this religious practice to identify and target males have made the event even more sensitive.
