Kangana Speaks Out: How Bangladesh's Revolution Could Shape Nepal's Future!
Mumbai: Controversial Bollywood actress and Indian parliamentarian Kangana Ranaut, who previously stirred controversy by claiming that "Nepal is part of India," has now offered suggestions linking the ongoing revolution in Bangladesh to Nepal.
Kangana stated that when leaders fail to address their people's problems in time, they may end up facing consequences similar to those of Bangladesh's Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Following a student-led uprising, Sheikh Hasina resigned from her position on Monday and has since sought refuge in India. Kangana warned Indian leaders to take a lesson from this incident to avoid a similar situation in their own country.
The actress also commented on some of the actions of the Bangladeshi students during the protests. Responding to a video showing a statue of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the former Prime Minister of Bangladesh and father of the nation, being desecrated by urination, she expressed her dismay. She described such acts, along with the beating of animals in a zoo during the protests, as the height of cruelty.
Sharing the disturbing video on her official Instagram, Kangana wrote, "Bangladeshis have urinated on the statue of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the man who led Bangladesh to independence. He was assassinated soon after gaining freedom. I’m shocked at how they could do this during a protest. Some were beating animals in a zoo, and even after the Prime Minister resigned, the protests haven't stopped!"
Highlighting India's tradition of compassion toward animals, Kangana condemned the actions of the Bangladeshi protesters, calling the beating of animals a peak of inhumanity. She added, "You can spread unnecessary hate against the government, but inflicting pain on innocent animals is unacceptable."
