10 Lakh Worth Relief Distributed to Flood Victims in Balkhu! Nepal-India Friendship Association’s Major Initiative!
The Nepal-India Friendship Association has distributed relief materials worth 10 lakh rupees to the flood victims of Balkhu. In collaboration with the Nepal Medical Association, the relief materials aim to provide much-needed support to those affected by the recent floods. During the handover ceremony, Sunil Mohan Mainali, President of the Nepal-India Friendship Association, emphasized the importance of such relief efforts, saying, "The hopes of the flood victims will not be left to perish. Our efforts will help alleviate their suffering."
The relief materials included essential items such as food, medicine, and clothing, which were provided to help flood victims return to normalcy. Mainali added, "Our small initiative will help reduce the pain and hardship faced by these flood victims and assist in restoring their daily lives."
Also present at the event, Dr. Anil Kant Kafle, President of the Nepal Medical Association, committed to providing medical assistance to the flood-hit areas. "We are setting up a two-day medical camp in the Balkhu area to provide necessary healthcare services alongside the relief distribution," he said.
The relief program has been widely appreciated for its timely intervention, with Mainali stating, "The Nepal-India Friendship Association is committed to extending such relief and assistance on an ongoing basis."
