The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has taken serious note of media reports and audio recordings alleging improper conduct, undue pressure, threats, and suspicious financial dealings involving its elected Member of the House of Representatives, Khagendra Sunar. In response to these allegations, the party has instructed its Central Disciplinary Commission to immediately initiate an internal investigation to ascertain the truth of the matter.

To maintain official ethics and ensure that the probe remains unhindered, the RSP has directed MP Sunar to refrain from participating in any formal public events in his official capacity until the investigation reaches its conclusion. Reaffirming its zero-tolerance policy toward misconduct, harassment of women, violation of official dignity, and criminal offenses, the party emphasized its unwavering stance on governance, accountability, and the rule of law.

Acknowledging the severity of the matter, the RSP expressed confidence that relevant state authorities will carry out a swift, independent, impartial, and factual investigation. The party pledged full cooperation with state agencies during the investigation, reiterating its core democratic stance that "no one is above the law."
