Interim Prime Minister Sushila KarkiтАЩs visit to Janakpur has drawn attention to the religious and ceremonial dimension of her public engagements following her assumption of office.

Arriving in Janakpurdham for the first time since taking leadership of the interim government, Karki visited the Janaki Temple, where she performed рдкреВрдЬрд╛ rituals and interacted with temple priests and mahants after the ceremony.

According to officials, the visit was framed as a religious trip rather than a political engagement, with Karki stating that her presence in Janakpur was solely for spiritual purposes. She described the visit as meaningful and satisfactory.
