International Distrust Grows Over Pakistan's 'Mediation Diplomacy'

Analyses have emerged indicating that international distrust is growing toward Pakistan, which has been attempting to present itself as a "mediating power" in Iran, Gulf nations, and West Asian crises. Various international articles and security analyses have accused Pakistan of adopting a strategy to please all sides by engaging more in a "politics of balancing" rather than pursuing real solutions.

Specifically, while Pakistan on one hand is trying to maintain relations with powers like Saudi Arabia, China, and the United States, on the other hand, it is also trying to show diplomatic proximity with Iran. However, according to analysts, the risk that such a "multidimensional balance" could become unstable in the long term is increasing.

Recently, Pakistan has even been accused of making a secret defense pact with Saudi Arabia. According to some reports, Pakistan is trying to strengthen its role in the power politics of the Gulf region by expanding military and security cooperation.
