A prominent youth advocate has launched a sharp rebuke against the government’s recent decision to reshuffle senior police leadership, characterizing the state's intervention as an unlawful attempt to dismantle the security institution for political gain.
In a formal statement, Gen Z activist Ajay Sodari asserted that police personnel must not be utilized as tools to serve narrow political motives. He warned that the government's deliberate actions targeting both the security apparatus and its chief represent a highly sensitive and illegitimate abuse of state authority.
The criticism comes as the law enforcement agency was gradually regaining its institutional momentum following recent Gen Z-led demonstrations. According to Sodari, undermining the police during this critical recovery phase forms part of a broader design intended to discredit and destabilize the country's law enforcement structure.
Sodari has called for immediate and united resistance against the executive move, urging patriotic citizens, youth activists, and members of the police force itself to break their silence. As public scrutiny over government interference intensifies, the call to safeguard institutional independence is expected to rally wider civil society support against state overreach.
