Highlighting Uttar Pradesh's rapid transition into an industrial powerhouse, a high-level delegation engaged with the Indian diaspora in the United Arab Emirates to pitch new investment opportunities. Speaking as the chief guest at the 'Deep Utsav 2026' event hosted by the Indian People’s Forum (IPF) UP Council at Taj Business Bay on October 25, Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh delivered an official message from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, calling on non-resident Indians (NRIs) to participate in the state's economic expansion.

The event, which also featured Anupshahr MLA Sanjay Sharma as a guest of honor, showcased Uttar Pradesh's cultural heritage alongside its modern development initiatives. Singh emphasized that under the current political leadership, the state has shed its past reputation of administrative disarray, emerging instead as a prime destination for global commerce, backed by robust law enforcement and modern infrastructure. He specifically cited the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar as a flagship project symbolizing this economic resurgence.

Encouraging diaspora entrepreneurs to act as cultural and economic ambassadors, Singh urged attendees to leverage their technical expertise and capital to bolster UP's growing economy. In recognition of their public service and legislative contributions toward state development, both Singh and Sharma were conferred with the 'Uttar Pradesh Gaurav Samman' by IPF National General Secretary Rajeev Ranjan.

Organized with leadership from IPF UP Council members including Mahesh Singh, B.S. Chauhan, Sudhir Tripathi, Nidhi Sharma, and Richa Gautam, the celebration featured regional cultural performances. Addressing the gathering, Singh expressed confidence that active engagement and capital flows from the expatriate community would prove pivotal in establishing Uttar Pradesh as a leading state economy.
