The Armed Police Force has apprehended an individual in possession of a domestic pistol based on special information provided by the APF Intelligence Bureau. The Armed Police Force Nepal Border Security Gulm Rani took thirty-one-year-old Subas Yadav into custody from his rented apartment in Jatuwa, Biratnagar Metropolitan City-14, Morang district. Authorities recovered one domestic pistol, one round of ammunition, and one hundred and forty grams of marijuana from his possession. Following his detention, Yadav was handed over to the Nepal Police for necessary investigation and legal action.
In a separate enforcement operation, the Armed Police Force successfully seized illegal clothing and hardware items valued at 523,200 Nepalese rupees. The undocumented goods were discovered abandoned in the Khedaghat border area of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-19, Kailali district. The recovery operation was executed by the Armed Police Force Nepal Border Out Post Lallipur. The confiscated merchandise has since been delivered to the Kailali Customs Office in Trinagar for further processing.
Additionally, the security agency intercepted another consignment of contraband consisting of cosmetics and mobile phone parts valued at 177,150 Nepalese rupees. These abandoned items were recovered from the Thekipur border area located in Bhajani Municipality-3 of Kailali district. The operation was carried out by the Armed Police Force Nepal Border Security Gulm Khakraula. This successful series of operations highlights the ongoing efforts of the security forces to curb illegal activities and maintain border security.
