China-Nepal Unveil Cutting-Edge Tech in Joint Military Drill – Featuring Spy Drones and Robot Dogs!

China and Nepal kicked off their "Sagarmatha Friendship-2024" joint anti-terrorism drill in Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality on Sunday. This marks the fourth iteration of the drill, last held in 2019. The exercise, focused on urban anti-terrorism tactics, will run until October 1 and involve activities such as drone operations, emergency rescues, and group tactics.

One of the major highlights was the debut of a ball-shaped reconnaissance drone, capable of discreetly rolling through urban areas. Also featured were intelligent technologies like a robot dog and through-wall radar, which aim to boost combat readiness and reduce risks in hostile environments.

In addition to the military drills, the two nations will exchange knowledge on disaster relief, responding to natural disasters such as earthquakes and snow damage, further strengthening bilateral cooperation.
