Controversial Chinese Ambassador Chen Song's Unpleasant Behavior: Mohana Ansari's Strong Rebuttal!

In a recent incident, the search for 36 missing passengers and two buses involved in an accident at Simaltal, Chitwan, has faced significant challenges due to the swift currents of the Trishuli River. The Indian team, consisting of four divers and 12 technical experts, returned home on Sunday after their equipment proved ineffective against the river's high flow and turbidity. Assistant Chief District Officer of Chitwan, Khimanand Bhusal, noted, "They found the flow and turbidity of the Trishuli River to be much more challenging than expected, providing a valuable learning experience."

Amidst the search efforts, Chinese Ambassador Chen Song made a controversial post on x.com, stating, "Some people argue that it is inappropriate to comment. My answer to them: What is wrong with the comment? Shouldn't the search be sped up and facilitated by all means? If a magnet is needed to speed up the search, then find the magnet. Why do people only start asking questions when a magnet is lost?"

The search efforts faced another setback on Saturday when a 19 kg magnet used in the search went missing, later found on Sunday in the Narayani River near Kavreghat, along with a life buoy tube.

Following the magnet's recovery, Ambassador Song posted again on x.com, "If this news is true, it is good news. Now focus on the search and hurry. Best luck to the search teams."

These comments have sparked controversy in Nepal. Former National Human Rights Commission and Women's Commission Commissioner, lawyer Mohana Ansari, responded sharply on x.com, writing, "WOW.... what a comment by Diplomat @PRCAmbNepal."

Similarly, x.com user Sadiksha Karki commented, "Thankfully, Dipak Manange at least wears a vest to cover his shame. Otherwise, the neighbors would expose everything. 😁"

Ambassador Song's comments have been perceived as challenging the competence of the Indian and Nepali teams. Critics argue that instead of criticizing the rescue efforts, the ambassador should seek support from China, a major global power.
