A fresh wave of violent insurgent operations has gripped Pakistan's southwestern province of Balochistan, claiming several lives and damaging strategic economic infrastructure across multiple districts.
The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) stated that its elite 'Fateh Squad' executed a coordinated ambush using an improvised explosive device followed by direct gunfire against a Frontier Corps bomb disposal convoy in the Wallapat area of Lasbela district.
Discrepancies remain regarding the casualty figures from the Lasbela attack. Official Pakistani authorities confirmed that four security personnel died and seven others were wounded, including a civilian. However, the BLA claimed a higher toll, asserting that nine soldiers were killed and more than eleven were injured, alongside the destruction of military vehicles.

Beyond military targets, the separatist faction expanded its campaign against commercial activity by targeting a lithium exploration site in Mashkel. Insurgents set fire to four drilling rigs and five service vehicles before releasing detained project workers with explicit warnings to foreign and domestic firms to cease mining efforts in the region.
The BLA also claimed responsibility for a targeted action in Jiwani, where four individuals—identified as Ghulam Mustafa, Sanam Masih, Kanwal Shahzad, and Danish Iqbal—were killed over allegations of gathering military intelligence through the National Logistics Corporation. These targeted claims have not been independently verified.
Simultaneously, the Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) launched temporary road blockades and snap inspections in Kachhi district. Both insurgent organizations reaffirmed their intention to maintain armed pressure until achieving complete independence for Balochistan.
