The foundation stone for the construction of a new school building for Shree Maheshwar Secondary School was jointly laid today at Bhimdatta Municipality-10 in Kanchanpur district of Sudurpashchim Province. First Secretary at the Embassy of India in Kathmandu, Shri Vasistha Nandan, and Deputy Mayor of Bhimdatta Municipality, Mrs. Neelam Lekhak Joshi, performed the ground-breaking ceremony.

The infrastructure project is being undertaken with financial assistance from the Government of India amounting to approximately NPR 1.9 crore. Executed through Bhimdatta Municipality, this initiative represents the eleventh High Impact Community Development Project implemented in Kanchanpur district to bolster local educational infrastructure.

Expressing gratitude for the ongoing development support from India, Deputy Mayor Joshi and local stakeholders noted that the new facility will significantly improve the learning environment for students and teachers alike.
