Birgunj High Court Judge Gokarna Dangi, Registrar Taradatta Badu, and four others sustained injuries after their vehicle plunged off the road at Jurikhet in Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-6, Makwanpur district, along the Hetauda-Kulekhani-Kathmandu road section.
According to police reports, the Scorpio vehicle bearing registration number Ba.Pra. 02-01-002 Jha 5183 was traveling from Kathmandu toward Hetauda when it veered off the road and fell approximately 50 to 60 meters down the hill at around 7:30 AM on Bhadra 2, 2083 B.S. A total of six individuals were on board, including Judge Dangi, his family members, and Court Registrar Badu.
Two of the injured individuals are reported to be in critical condition following the plunge. In response to the emergency, a Nepali Army helicopter landed at Bhimphedi at 8:25 AM to execute an immediate air rescue operation for the injured persons.
Authorities are coordinating the emergency treatment for all victims while further official procedures regarding the incident continue.
